Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about his meeting with Michael Mann, and the observation that successful people are always in a hurry to get things done. He also recalls a friend that pushed him away when Adam offered to help, and then takes a call from someone who did take his advice: Teresa Strasser. Teresa talks about Adam laughing at her while she cried on the air, and Adam congratulates her on leading a successful life in Arizona. Teresa and Gina then discuss their new podcast together, and Teresa talks about spending her days watching her kids play sports. Later, Teresa asks Adam about his recent conversation with Tucker Carlson about not caring what people think about you. Before hanging up, they discuss a particularly awkward time in the history of The Adam Carolla Show when Adam didn’t want to work with Danny Bonaduce anymore.
Up next, Adam takes a fan phone call about life in Holland. They also chat with a fan who wants to pull the balls during the next ‘Adam Carolla Is Unprepared’, and she tells the gang about the school cafeteria culinary scene. The guys then watch a clip from ‘Unprepared’, and Adam shares a story about one of his drunkest moments. Gina also reads news stories about Joe Biden running for President, Michael Cohen telling Tom Arnold he’s not guilty of some of the crimes he admitted to, and the execution of John William King. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about costars of Empire demanding producers bring Jussie Smollett back on the show, and McDonald’s searching for new workers in the AARP crowd.
