Show Summary
Adam opens the show with Rob Riggle in studio, and Rob talks about getting to do a drive around at Long Beach along with Mario Andretti. It reminds Adam of the time he missed a drive around opportunity at the Indy 500 because the car wasn’t working. Rob also talks about flying with the Blue Angels without getting sick, playing Broom Ball, and Millennials lacking the same grit as their ancestors. Rob then brings ‘The Riggle Report’, which details the off-the-field antics of various athletes.
Composer Brian Tyler is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about how he started being a movie composer. They also talk about his journey through film and ultimately working on the anthem for Formula 1. Adam then laughs about the training video he was supposed to look at before a race, and asks Brian about the various cars he’s enjoyed over the years.
Gina starts the news discussing the death of Verne Troyer. They also talk about a TV actress being arrested on sex trafficking charges, why everyone needs to throw out their romaine lettuce, and more cancellations and delays on Southwest. As the show wraps up, the guys chat about Billy Kimmel’s 1st birthday, David Copperfield being forced to reveal a magic trick in court, and a bus driver fired for watching TV while driving.
