As the show opens up, Adam shares his thoughts on the strange history of a James Dean car, which leads to the gang watching an eerie PSA. The guys then go on a tangent about J.J. Arms, and Adam rants about homelessness becoming a political issue. After listening to a clip from Take A Knee, Adam talks about some of the homelessness he’s witnessed through friends and family, and follows up on the Phish back-and-forth with producer Mike Lynch.
Rick Fox and Jace Hall are in studio next, and the guys talk about the culture of e-sports. They talk further about the rise of celebrity gamers, leagues, and drafts, and also chat about the economics of paying players. Later they discuss the NBA moving away from the title, ‘Owners’.
Gina begins today’s news talking about Louis C.K.’s surprise performance, followed by an apology having to be issued by the venue. They also talk about a potential fight between Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise, 60 hours of video released from the Jussie Smollett attack, and Tupac’s prison ID card going up for auction. As the show wraps up, Adam relives his Newman Porsche auction experience, and Adam and Shek bring today’s Good Sports.
