Show Summary
At the top of the show, the guys lament the insane heat wave in LA. It reminds Adam of horrible football drills and never having air conditioning in the Valley. He goes on to complain about his long list of terrible jobs, and takes a fan phone call about whether or not rental cars should be standardized. No Good Sports today, but enjoy an insect-themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.
Mike Herrera of MXPX is in studio next, and the guys talk about the 25th anniversary of the band, as well as their first album in 6 years. Adam also asks Mike about the early days of the band, and what it means to take control of your own music. Later, Adam complains about his dad not knowing anything about him, and Gina begins the news talking about poachers killed by a pack of lions. Other news stories include a woman charged with murder after her son refused to go into assisted living, an Australia prisoner who won the lottery while behind bars, and how eating more nuts can improve your sperm count. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a Bruce Springsteen lyric manuscript selling at auction.
