Adam opens the show talking about people convinced they’re right when they have the wrong info. The guys then listen to a clip of David Alan Grier appearing on Howard Stern, and Adam talks further about our country’s political divide. He also recalls how he first met members of the band Korn, and the guys watch an old Man Show sketch about the foundation of the band. Up next, Adam takes a call from Jordan Harbinger to discuss surrounding yourself with the right people, and what steps you need to take to become successful.
Munky from Korn is in studio next, and the guys talk about the moving new documentary, ‘Mind Over Matter’. Munky describes how a fan with cerebral palsy reached out to the band, and he goes on to talk about the band’s rise to success from their roots in Bakersfield, CA. Later, the subject of the documentary (Brandon Mendenhall) joins the studio to share his story of pushing through his disability.
Gina begins today’s news talking about the results of this year’s SAG Awards. The guys then talk about the experience of writing for the Oscars last year, and they also watch some classic Albert Brooks clips. Other news stories include The Office saving someone’s life, and an insanely cold weekend coming up as Adam heads East. As the show wraps up, enjoy today’s Good Sports!
