Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about the new live show format he’s developing called ‘Adam Carolla Is Unprepared.’ He also reacts to a Twitter exchange between Alyssa Milano and James Woods, as well as Michelle Obama’s interview on Oprah’s podcast. The guys then go on to discuss people attempting to change history through pop culture, and they take a call from Alonzo Bodden to chat about trying to sell his car online, and updates on his love life. After the call, Adam talks about how important it is to have a project to work on, and everyone laughs at ridiculous clips from Kung Fu.
Lisa Lampanelli is in studio next, and Adam talks with her about this particular phase of her life as she’s stepping away from stand-up comedy. They also talk about her incredible weight loss, as well as her move into motivational speaking. Gina then reads angry Alyssa Milano tweets, and Lisa talks about working your way out of self-hate and into gratitude.
Gina opens the news with an update on NASA landing their latest robot to Mars, and Elon Musk’s prediction that he himself will live on Mars. They also talk about the Alec Baldwin parking lot altercation, and watch a viral video of a bear wandering into a police station. Another news stories include Heather Locklear’s lockdown, and Dr. Drew pops in studio to comment. The group then breaks down a Robitussin commercial that’s driving Adam nuts, and Gina reads tweets from people who hate Bald Bryan talking about his tumor. As the show wraps up, the guys watch the trailer from Bruce Springsteen on Broadway, coming soon to Netflix.
