Show Summary
Adam opens the show talking about his favorite Survival themed movies. He then shares some info he learned about new travel IDs, as well as part of his family history. Later, Adam recalls drinking Absinthe with Marilyn Manson, and a day spent hanging out with Pat O’Brien. Up next, the guys listen to a clip from an upcoming Take A Knee. Before Good Sports, Adam talks about Natalia being done with the platform bed he built for her, and trying to get his nephews started on their lives.
Les Stroud is in studio next, and the guys talk about the pros and cons of an off-the-grid lifestyle. Les also talks about living in the bush with a girlfriend with no news for months on end, and Adam asks him how he feels about modern technology. Les then discusses the importance of taking a step back and sitting under a tree. Later, Gina reads a news story about the appearance of a ‘firenado’, and the guys talk about how TV producers have ruined the survivor genre. Other news stories include Yelp’s new ‘Open To All’ feature, and a defendant getting their mouth taped shut in court. As the show wraps up, Les talks about hanging out with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s bodyguard, and Gina reads one last story about an upcoming Roger Ailes / Fox News movie.
