At the top of the show, Adam talks about the battle for cool between Steve McQueen and Paul Newman. He also reacts to an article that calls Adam out for some of his ‘controversial’ statements, and the guys play along to clips from Adam’s recent appearance on Match Game. Laura Ingraham then calls in and talks with Adam about today’s political divide, and the high-stakes game of which direction our country will head in. They go on to discuss the impact of President Trump, as well as the rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
After the break, Adam takes a call from Dylan’s friend who’s trying to start a charter school in LA. Gina then reads news stories about a shooter who killed 5 people at a bank, a teen who escaped captivity, and the marijuana ad that will NOT air on Super Bowl Sunday. They also discuss Weezer’s new album of cover songs, the craziest guest Kimmel never booked, and the career of James Brolin. As the show wraps up, Mark Geragos drops by to comment on Chris Brown, and the dueling documentaries about the Fyre festival.
