Show Summary

Adam opens the show excited that Larry Elder is here for a special 1-on-1 podcast with him. Adam explains that he wants to focus the entire episode on Race, a topic he believes Larry speaks very truthfully about. Adam asks Larry about his background, and then talks about his own experiences growing up. They discuss the ridiculousness of the ‘school to jail pipeline’, and the idea of being held back because you think people are out to get you. Adam also chats with Larry about changing our assumptions about police brutality, and how to fix our education system.

Part 2 of today’s show continues with further conversation about vouchers and choosing public vs. private school. Adam then asks Larry for his thoughts on Affirmative Action and unintended consequences. As the show wraps up, Larry tells a story about the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the guys discuss how ridiculous it is to root for people simply because they look like you.
