Show Summary

Adam opens the show commenting on the breaking news regarding Michael Avenatti. He goes on to discuss his relationship with Mark Geragos, and points out a similarity between Rich Eisen and recent ACS guest Ben Bailey. Gina then breaks down some of the latest on the Avenatti abuse accusations, and AJ Benza phones in to share some interesting tidbits, as well as to help explain the difference between misdemeanor and felony. Adam then rants about a miscommunication, and the guys watch footage of Ken Block’s Gymkhana 9.

Ken Block is in studio next, and Adam chats with him about making his car videos look as incredible as they do. They talk further about which markets his work is most exposed to, how he gets cities to shut down for his videos, and how surreal it is to be making Gymkhana 10. Ken then shares his thoughts on the Baja 500/1000, dangerous accidents during races, and how electric cars are gaining momentum. Before heading out, the guys discuss the infamous 1955 Le Mans Disaster, and Ken talks about his upcoming race schedule.

Gina begins today’s news announcing Oxford Dictionary’s annual Word of the Year. Adam then rants about the ridiculousness of radio censorship, and Gina goes on to read news stories about stolen turkeys and William Shatner’s new Christmas album, which leads to a conversation about parody music. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about the decline in holiday office parties after the #metoo movement.
