Show Summary
Adam opens the show with Jim Gaffigan in studio right at the top. The guys talk about his hilarious new stand-up special, and his ‘clean’ brand of humor. They also discuss finding the humor in a loved one having a brain tumor, writing comedy with your spouse, and how guys like Michael Moore or Johnny Depp handle being rich and famous. Before heading out, Jim tells Adam what he learned playing football.
Vinnie Tortorich is in studio next, and the guys chat about Adam’s non-success rate with apps and technology. The guys also discuss racing in the desert, and an athlete’s relationship with hydration. Up next, enjoy the return of Good Sports! After the break, Adam rants about the city of Los Angeles hiring a ‘travel consultant’ to help with traffic and homelessness. The guys also take calls about Adam’s Envelope House and thoughts on parenting a defiant 5-year-old.
Gina then starts the news with an update on the Thai cave rescue. Other news stories include the sentencing of Pacman Jones’ attacker, celebs protesting eating dogs in South Korea, and strange legal maneuvers regarding the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. Adam then complains about people actually expecting more from corporations, and the show wraps up with a story about couch potatoes being less open to new experiences.
