Show Summary
Adam opens today’s show with another Mike August story. He then goes on to discuss unsatisfying answers, and the importance of keeping your mind active. The group also talks about Adam’s upcoming Stand-up Special screenings, and everyone listens to a clip from ‘Not Taco Bell Material’. After that, Bryan shows a video of Tessa singing ‘Jingle Bells, Batman Smells’, and Adam brings up a very uncomfortable headline involving Dr. Drew. Later, Adam reflects on 10 years of podcasting and his last day of radio broadcasting, and then gets Dave Mason on the line to talk about what people bet on after the Super Bowl, Oscar odds and picks, and life in Costa Rica.
Jay Mohr then enters the studio and talks with the gang about coaching high school wrestling. Adam also chats with a variety of characters like ‘Alternative Lifestyle Droopy Dog’, ‘Coach Tony Bennett’, and ‘Tracy Morgan’. ‘Big Mama’ also comments on advice for a wedding proposal from a fan. Gina then starts the news with an update on the Colin Kaepernick settlement, and Mark Geragos calls in to talk further about the civil case. Other news stories include the Jussie Smollett attack, a kid arrested and suspended for not standing for the pledge of allegiance, and Anthony Weiner’s release from prison. As the show wraps up, the group talks about the rat infestation in LA City Hall, more troubles with this year’s Oscars, and Adam and Shek bring today’s Good Sports!
