Show Summary

At the top of the show, the guys talk about bummer messages from the 70s, and Adam’s relationship with his mom. They also talk about Adam’s nephew constantly missing work, and the idea of surprise birthday parties. Dennis Miller then calls in, and Adam tells him about the most awkward funeral he’s ever attended. Up next, the guys play a Car Crash themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game. Bryan then offers to assign Adam some classic films to watch, and the guys chat with a caller about being on a plane with a woman who had 3 support animals and had to be removed from the flight.

Jason Whitlock is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about lessons learned playing football. Jason then explains that football was responsible for lifting him out of poverty and getting him into college, and the guys watch a clip of Denzel Washington talking about the importance of family. They also talk about the problems of people being dependent on the government, and how the news media covers police brutality.

Up next, Adam shows the group a clip from Bill Maher about race, and Jason goes on to talk about Silicon Valley’s control over popular culture. Later, Gina reads a news story about people arrested in a GoFundMe scam, and Adam explains why he feels bad for firefighters. As the show wraps up, Gina reads a couple more news stories about Jim Acosta getting his press pass reinstated, and China’s new Artificial Intelligence news anchor. Stick around for today’s Good Sports!
