Show Summary
Today’s podcast opens with Larry Miller in studio. The guys immediately go into a round of the Hypothetical Road Trip Game, and then discuss their love of Howie Mandel who will be joining the show later on today. Adam then dissects some clips from Oprah’s podcast, and the guys talk about Larry’s upcoming movies.
Howie Mandel then joins the studio, and Adam chats with him about Oprah, as well as bumping into each other while vacationing in Maui. Howie then shares an incident that happened while attempting to scuba dive, and Adam asks him more questions about being a germophobe. Later they talk about Howie’s taping schedule, his daily rituals, and how he first hooked up with Vinnie Tortorich.
Gina begins the news with a story that suggests 536 AD was the worst year in humanity’s history. They also talk about an upcoming Spinal Tap reunion screening + performance, and Adam asks Howie about his real estate projects and how he stays busy. In lieu of additional news stories, Adam asks Howie about his upbringing and early forays into comedy. As the show wraps up, Howie talks about his relationship with Diana Ross, and Adam tells Howie about his doggy bag policy and piano tuning sign.
