Show Summary

At the top of today’s podcast, Adam talks about his morning stuck in traffic on his way to tape Rich Eisen’s radio show. They also watch a teacher-student throw down that’s gone viral, which reminds Adam of his own crazy childhood. The guys then talk about Pete Davidson’s off-color joke, and do a follow up story on a super-confusing Discovery commercial. After a quick break, the guys chat about James Woods’ tweets, and discuss Barbra Streisand’s bummer of a new song, which leads Adam to talk about his awkward conversations with both parents this weekend.

Finesse Mitchell is in studio next, and the guys talk about his new standup special. Adam then asks Finesse about playing football with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on the Miami Hurricanes, his first foray into comedy, and where his personal drive comes from. Up next, Gina starts the news talking about results from the NYC Marathon. Other news stories include Alec Baldwin denying he punched anyone, Louis Farrakhan’s latest statements, and a mock political ad starring Ryan Reynolds. They also talk about the legal aftermath of Chris Cornell’s death, construction workers discovering 1,000 human teeth in a wall, and voting for the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Gina then wraps up the news talking about Steven Tyler being an ordained minister, and the latest study about dogs reacting to cell phone usage.  In the last part of today’s podcast, stick around for today’s Good Sports!

You can catch Finesse Mitchel’s special, ‘The Spirit Told Me to Tell You’ out now on Showtime and Showtime Anytime. Also follow today’s guest on Twitter @FinesseMitchell.
