Show Summary
Adam opens the show telling Bryan and Gina about rubbing elbows with Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx at a hip premiere party. He also talks about a convo he had with Brian Koppelman, and chats more about the All in the Family / Jeffersons taping that occurred earlier in the day. Adam then shares a clip from Jocko Willink’s Prager U Commencement Speech regarding discipline, and the guys watch a round of ‘Adam Carolla Is Unprepared’. Up next, the guys play ‘Is That A Fart?’, and discuss an article about improving your mental health through exercise. Later, Adam plays an interview with Quentin Tarantino choosing not to respond to an outrageous question.
Chris Kattan is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about his relationship with Will Ferrell. The guys also chat about Chris’ new memoir about his time on SNL, and the experience of recording the audiobook. After that, the guys re-enact a Costco trip with DJ Khaled, and Chris talks more about his experiences on SNL, which leads to a conversation about failed rock star alter egos. Gina then reads news stories about Mario Batali’s arraignment, updates on the woman who gave birth while in a coma, and the return of New Coke. As the show wraps up, Bryan asks Chris for his thoughts on the recent SNL Reunion show, and Wendy William’s son arrested for allegedly punching his dad in the face. Stick around for Adam and Shek’s Good Sports.
