Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam welcomes writer-director Adam Rifkin to the show. The guys talk about being inspired by monster movies such as ‘The Mole People’, which Adam’s grandfather wrote. They also discuss classic Burt Reynolds performances, and what is was like making a movie with the legendary actor. Burt then calls in and Adam asks him about working with Dom DeLouise, how many moments in his films were improvised, and whether he still has an interest in cars. The guys also ask Burt about his feelings regarding ‘Boogie Nights’, and the iconic Cosmo photoshoot. Later, Adam complains about getting false information, Natalia wanting to upgrade her iPhone, and his parents not recognizing Kimmel since his success. Before Good Sports, the guys talk further with Adam Rifkin about working with Chevy Chase.

Billy Hayes and director Sally Sussman are in studio next, and the guys discuss the new documentary, ‘Midnight Return: The Story of Billy Hayes and Turkey’. They talk with Billy about the horrifying ideal he experienced, the ‘controversial’ film that followed, and the impact that the film and his story have had ever since. After that, enjoy the results of the March Gradness Elite Eight. Gina then reads news stories about the end of the Austin serial bomber saga, trying to perfect the male birth control pill, and the death of Bozo the Clown. Other stories include Adam’s experience with the Party Pals, and the new Pirates of the Caribbean characters revealed. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about Jon Oliver pranking the Vice President with a parody children’s book.
