Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about some of the bizarre commercials that aired while watching Monday Night Football with Sonny. Adam then rants about Olga’s cooking, and Gina brings in a new recipe for a segment called ‘Eat Your Feelings’. Up next, Adam discusses the importance of delayed gratification, and RJ Bell calls in to reviews his picks from the last visit, as well as what to expect in next weekend’s games.
After Good Sports, Bobby Slayton joins the show. Adam chats with him about building your comedy career, and memories from the KROQ days. They also discuss terrible music from the 80s, opening for acts you shouldn’t, and a shared love of Graham Parker. Later they talk about their endless ability to complain about things, and Gina starts the news with stories about schools bringing back paddling, Trump’s vow to write his next book, and updates on Hurricane Florence. Other news stories include a follow-up on the Connor McGregor lawsuit, and Avril Lavigne’s new album. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about how much money you should leave for the tooth fairy, and Bobby’s upcoming new special.
