At the top of the show, Adam complains about putting stuff in the right place, only to find it covered by something else. They also discuss the etiquette of critiquing food that’s been made for you. Jon Taffer then calls in and offers a brilliant idea to combine Mangria and Jerky. Jon then talks about rescuing a bar, restaurant, and ultimately a whole community in Puerto Rico. They talk further about the crisis happening down there, and doing a live podcast to help raise money. Later, Adam complains about the confusion surrounding Missed Calls from people, and he takes a call about what’s true vs. exaggerated on his podcast. Before the break, Adam talks with a couple more callers about terrorists stealing Toyotas in Afghanistan, and learning carpentry at age 32.
Artie Lange is on the line at the top of Part 2 of today’s podcast. The guys talk about overly long book titles, and Artie’s performance on the HBO show “Crashing”. Adam then asks Artie about the status of his sobriety, thoughts on settling down, and being on probation for the next four years. Before hanging up, they also discuss leaving a good legacy behind.
Gina begins the news with a story about a murderer captured in Houston. They also discuss Elon Musk calling a Thailand diver a pedophile, Hawaiian lava flow creating a new “island”, and Bruce Willis saying Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. As the show wraps up, the group talks about Fornite addiction, as well as ice cream offered for $1500.
