Adam opens today’s show talking more about the conversation had yesterday about how progressive America is compared to other countries when it comes to gay rights. He then tells a story about his recent visit to Malibu with his daughter Natalia, and he shows a video that Brad Williams took of the same area just a couple days later. The guys then take a call from memer Tank Sinatra, and Adam asks him about how he monetizes, and makes a living out of making memes, as well as his process for creating them. Before the break, Adam rants about bad phone connections, and Skype never working.
Akbar Gbajabiamila is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about his new book, ‘Everyone Can Be A Ninja’. They also discuss the need for grit, and moving away from our sanitized society. Later they talk about the former mayor of LA Tom Bradley, and Akbar recalls an incident from his childhood that had a major impact on him. Akbar then tells Adam about his success in the NFL, and Akbar talks about the extraordinary genes of Nigerians.
Gina begins today’s news talking about Tracy Morgan’s car accident in a brand new $2 million Bugatti. They also talk about cities starting to decriminalize magic mushrooms, and the easily offended society we live in. Other news stories include explosions on the set of the new James Bond movie, YouTube banning Nazi and holocaust denier videos, and WalMart reaching out to high schoolers to help out in exchange for SAT training and college credit. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a murder at a baseball game, and Madonna’s failed attempts to block items from going up for auction. Stick around for today’s Good Sports!
