Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking about his recent visit to the ‘Family Guy’ studios to lay down lines for an upcoming episode. Adam also complains about having to miss Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming party because he’s working, and he shares a conversation he had with a receptionist about finding happiness. The guys then watch a clip from Bill Maher, and talk about Adam’s experience at Politicon hanging with Clay Aiken.  Adam Ray calls in next, and the guys chat about their upcoming Basic Cable Commentary show happening in Phoenix this weekend. Before Good Sports, Adam talks with Dawson about the pain of recording audiobooks, and the guys listen to a clip of ‘Ghost: My Thirty Years as an FBI Undercover Agent’.

Undercover FBI Agent Michael McGowan and Writer Ralph Pezzullo are in studio next, and Adam talks with them about Sylvester Stallone scooping up the rights to their book. They also talk about Michael’s experiences as an undercover agent, and dealing with dirty cops.  Later they talk about the situations with Russia and El Salvador, the hunt for El Chapo, and being on the front lines of the war on drugs.  Before the guys head out, they talk further about the Mexican cartels and corruption in all forms of government,

Gina begins today’s news with breaking news about a plane crash landing on a local freeway. They also talk about Sarah Silverman’s comments about Louis CK, which leads to a larger conversation about people’s range of sexuality. Other stories include an incident at Clemson University, the upcoming Titanic 2 ship setting sail, and Amy Schumer’s pregnancy announcement. As the show wraps up, the guys guess what the #1 most popular Halloween costume will be this year, and talk about Jerry Springer’s next TV endeavor.
