Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about dealing with the cold he’s been fighting all week, and that Dr. Drew finally convinced him to take some medicine. Vinnie Tortorich is also in studio, and Adam chats with him about trying to pass his good advice along to the wife and kids. The guys then discuss portion control, cholesterol, and how alcohol affects your body. Next, Adam talks with a caller about journalist Milo Yiannopoulos, which leads to a larger conversation about the prevalence of victimhood in today’s society. After that, Adam chats with this week’s Lord of the Jungle.
Vinnie then breaks down what would constitute a good breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as acceptable snacks and desserts. Other callers want to know Adam’s thoughts on what to do for fun in LA, what would happen to the pirate ship if he died, and how he feels about bike racing. After a round of ‘Fit or Bullshit’, Gina begins the news discussing the end of the Oregon Militant Standoff. Other news stories include more candidates backing out of the presidential race, an actress attacked by a homeless man yet again, and the song ‘Happy Birthday’ entering the public domain. As the show wraps up, Gina reads one last news story about Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming autobiography.
