As the show opens up, the guys celebrate the 2,000th episode of The Adam Carolla Show. The guys listen to an epic new track from Rich Banks, then take phone calls about parading a retired space shuttle around Mexico, fun facts about the Stallone film Cobra, and many congratulations on the show’s milestone.
Ned Fulmer and Keith Habersberger are in studio next, and Adam chats with them about their video series on YouTube Red. The guys then talk about their work at Buzzfeed, and why being smart helps when working in new media. Gina begins the news talking about the upcoming Budweiser commercial that hits the hot button issue of immigration. They also talk about Beyonce’s pregnancy, a bizarre new phone call scam, and Anthony Michael Hall being sued by his neighbor. Other news stories deal with the new Blondie album, a study where students were accidentally given 100x more of a caffeine dosage than was intended, and the future of playing football. As the show wraps up, the guys chat about a bill that would fine people for driving too slow in the far left land, and Art Garfunkel’s upcoming solo tour.
