Adam opens the show with Randy and Jason Sklar in studio. The Sklars have a new subscription podcast dealing with their recent cross country tour, and Randy compliments Adam on how well Adam’s film ‘Road Hard’ captured the experience of being a ‘road comedian’. The guys also make fun of radio personalities who don’t drop their persona off the air, and discuss the lack of ‘civic pride’ in Los Angeles. The Sklars then re-enact a conversation between Charles Barkley and Shaq, and everyone talks about the best kind of undercover cops. Later, Randy discusses cracking his tooth on a date pit, and the guys take phone calls about ‘ganja-preneurs’, leaving your kids in the car while you run an errand, and the pros and cons of being a landlord.
Today’s news opens with a story about a drunk driver who got busted because she live streamed the entire experience on Periscope. They also discuss the CA state ban on the name ‘Redskins’ for a school mascot, a woman wrongfully kicked off a plane, and why people agree that Lou Reed was not a great person. Other news stories include the sale of Evel Knievel’s Stratocycle, and the makers of Budweiser purchasing Miller. As the show wraps up, the guys chat about the beers they loved that are no longer available.
