Adam opens the show talking with Stephen Dubner about long snapping. The guys also discuss the success of Freakonomics, and Stephen defends his love of sports. Adam shares one of his all time favorite Super Bowl plays, and then the guys start discussing the breakdown of our presidential election. Adam then explains the difference between racists and assholes, and Stephen explains why he thinks it’s okay for people to be jerks in a virtual way. Later, Adam shares a story about lunch with his dad today, and Stephen explains that life is not a binary equation. As the show wraps up, Stephen tells Adam that he’s more intellectual than he thinks.
