Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam complains about the crew not cleaning up after themselves. Matt Atchity is also in studio, and after briefly discussing the RT ranking of the new Star Wars movie, he hosts a Christmas-themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game. Next, Adam chats with Sen. Ted Cruz about the recent Republican debates, and his thoughts on Donald Trump. They also talk about the Senator’s proposed flat tax and how he plans to push things through in the event he gets elected. Before hanging up, Adam asks Cruz for his thoughts on Democrats and Hilary Clinton, and his hobbies outside of politics.
Bryan Callen and Brendan Schaub are in studio next, and Adam talks to them about the recent Ronda Rousey-Holly Holm matchup. They also talk about their thoughts on future UFC fights, and Brendan’s very recent retirement. Adam also discusses his success in podcasting, and why having more money doesn’t necessarily make you happier. Gina opens the news with a story about Bill Cosby now suing his accusers for damaging his reputation. Adam then shares the latest updates on the Newman Doc being available on Amazon. Other news stories include Serial subject matter Bowe Bergdahl facing a court-martial, Amber Heard going to trial after sneaking her dogs into Australia, and ridiculous Star Wars product placements. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss old people on skateboards.
