Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking about the amazing success of last night’s Road Hard event. He also explains why having a party forces you to get your shit together, and wonders how terrible hairstyles become the latest fashion. Then the guys listen to a new Dick Banks song, and Adam asks Jo Koy to perform Float On as Bung Lu Soo. Later, Adam talks with callers about why your mother in law shouldn’t move in with you, and what his ‘lifetime mulligan’ would be.

Musician Rhett Miller is in next, and Adam talks with him about how the Breaking Bad creator listened to the Old 97s while writing the final episode. Adam and Rhett also talk about playing sports in high school, and the cool names Adam wishes he had. In today’s news, Alison discusses the controversial ‘Hobby Lobby’ Supreme Court ruling. They also discuss the death of Meshach Taylor, and talk about the days when gay people were portrayed in films purely for comedic value. As the show wraps up, the group talks about Courtney Cox’s engagement, and Rhett shares a story about having an actress attack his hotel room.
