Adam opens the show by discussing a weekend visit from his mom and step-dad. He also talks with the gang about having to hear people’s personal drama whenever you buy things used. Adam then rants about trying to relax in the house with the maids running around, and Kevin Hench’s dog walking con man. Later, Penn Jillette calls in to talk about why his partnership with Teller is so great, and what he felt about the final results of Celebrity Apprentice. Dr. Bruce enters the studio next, and Adam talks with him about his continued attempts at self-surgery. Dr. Bruce then talks about a horrible day at the hospital, and discusses the dangers of leaving your kids in the car when it’s too hot outside. Adam also rants about passion-fruit iced tea, and the guys discuss why it’s bad to use Google to self-diagnose. Alison begins the news discussing the shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Later they discuss some controversial jokes that Jeff Ross made at the Roseanne Barr roast, and a disturbing call from the Aurora shooter. As the show wraps up, Adam rants about a trailer business that won’t take his check, and why we’ve created a society where everyone is treated like a criminal.
