Show Summary
Adam opens the show talking about Robert Evans, and why he prefers eggnog over pumpkin. He also talks with a caller about how he became interested in collecting Paul Newman cars, and helps another caller develop his own catch phrase. The guys then watch a classic clip from The Kid Stays in the Picture. Paul Reiser is in studio next, and talks with Adam about his first experiences with standup. They also talk about the success of Mad About You, and the fact that Paul co-composed the theme song. Next up, Alison begins the news discussing the government shut down and Obamacare. Later, they watch footage of a street brawl in New York, and Adam talks with Paul about his role in films like Aliens and Diner. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss the death of novelist Tom Clancy.
