Show Summary
As the show opens up, there is mass chaos as the group attempts to determine if Norman Lear has been on the Carolla Show before. Vinnie Tortorich is also in studio, and the guys talk about getting old and having more energy than ever before. Adam then talks about his upcoming family trip to Seattle, and takes calls about alternatives to improv classes, and military simulations. Before the break, Vinnie asks Adam about his recent conversation with Stallone, and Adam complains about people drifting away from the microphone.
Norman Lear is in studio next, and Adam lists off his incredible resume of film and TV. Adam also asks Norman about his appearance in the new doc ‘If You’re Not In The Obit, Eat Breakfast’, and how to make the most out of your later years. Norman also talks about his spiritual life and relationship with his mom. Later he chats about his interactions with other legends like Johnny Carson and Jerry Lewis, and shares his thoughts on smoking cigars and his daily schedule. As the show wraps up, the guys find out what happened to the kids of sitcom stars like Carroll O’Connor.
