Show Summary
Adam opens the show with Nick Lowe in studio. The guys talk about the early days of Pub Rock, and hanging out with artists like Elvis Costello and Dave Edmunds. They also discuss Christmas overexposure, and Nick plays a song off his new album. Later, the guys discuss songwriting with a sense of humor, and supposedly funny people that aren’t actually funny. After the break, Adam complains about his early morning wakeup call from his dog Molly. He then takes phone calls and talks with fans about comedy roasts, men who knit, and raising someone else’s child. As the show wraps up, Alison reads news stories about Detroit’s bankruptcy, Amazon’s drone delivery service, and delays for Fast and Furious 7.Links
