Adam opens the show talking about the new Sunday schedule and the start of the NFL season. They also talk about kids being kids, power ranking pudding flavors, and busted badminton sets. Adam then shares stories of Ray’s youth, and why he loved Love Boat so much. Later, Bryan explains why he was so distracted at the last USC game, and the guys take a fan phone call about Malcolm Gladwell’s ‘The Tipping Point’, and the impact of cleaning up graffiti. Before the break, Adam talks about his recent tour of the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Lilian Garcia is in studio next, and Adam talks with her about announcing for the WWE without being a wrestler. They also talk about singing the national anthem only a couple days after 9/11, and the respect she has for Vince McMahon. Gina begins the news talking about the latest updates on Hurricane Irma, including the closing of all Disney properties in Orlando. They also talk about a new Spike Lee / Jordan Peele movie called ‘Black Klansman’, and the show wraps up with a happy story about a new college football tradition in support of the local children’s hospital.
