Adam opens the show ranting about the insane heat in Southern California as fall comes right around the corner. The group also talks about weird celebrity requests, Mike August’s taste in cookies, and why Adam is postponing this week’s Bakersfield performance. They also discuss the upcoming Newman Rolex auction, and play a round of Totally Topical TiVo Trivia. After that, Adam takes a phoner from Jim Ross to talk about signing legendary talents, the state of pro wrestling today, and why there will never be a fight again like the Mayweather-McGregor matchup. Before the break, Adam takes a fan phone call about ‘pole buildings’, and Adam and Shek present today’s ‘Good Sports’ segment.
Kevin Sorbo and Sam Sorbo are in studio next, and Adam chats with them about their uplifting new film, and their fairly large theatrical release. Adam asks Kevin about his views on religion, and the guys talk further about the making of the movie. Gina then starts the news talking about Justin Timberlake being the act for the next Super Bowl Halftime show. They also talk about a Canadian lottery winner who tried to hide his winnings from his wife and made a run for it. Other news stories include Kyrie Irving being fined for yelling obscenities at a fan, Mark Cuban’s potential run for President, and updates to clothing so people with disabilities can be more comfortable. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about Southwest’s first ‘unmanned’ flight, injuries during sex, and how much food it takes to feed a football team.
