Adam opens the show talking about a bizarre coincidence he didn’t get credit for. He then takes fan phone calls about offensive jokes at work, his thoughts on boxer Gennady Golovkin, and this week’s Mangria moment winner. Adam also talks about the extent people are going to now to get high, and what this means for our future.
Goo Goo Doll’s John Rzeznik and Robby Takac are in studio next, and the guys listen to the latest track from their upcoming album. John then talks with Adam about remodeling his house, and his experiences racing in the Long Beach Grand Prix. Later they discuss the band’s upcoming tour, and the early days at KROQ when the guys first met. Gina then begins the news talking about ‘The Panama Papers’. They also talk about Charlize Theron getting turned away from roles because she’s too attractive, Porsche not being held responsible for Paul Walker’s death, and a father charged with leaving his child in a car while visiting a strip club during the afternoon. As the show wraps up, they discuss Amy Schumer being upset to be categorized as plus sized, and a site that will tell you if your partner is cheating on you using Tinder.
