George Foreman is on the line right at the top of the show. Adam talks with him about his incredible boxing career, and his transition into grilling and the food biz. They also discuss why boxers have problems with the post-match interviews, and the 13 years George spent as a commentator. Matt Atchity then hosts a round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game, based on the cast and crew of the new film ‘The Martian’. Before the break, Adam shares the latest Mike August story from their visit to New York.
Erik Conway is in studio next, and Adam asks him about ‘Merchants of Doubt’. They also discuss if we have anything to look forward to in avionics, and why there is so much confusion over the issue of Global Warming. Adam then complains about how difficult the state of California makes it to do anything productive on your own private property. Later, Gina begins the news with a story about another one of Bill Cosby’s ‘honorary degrees’ being revoked. They also discuss the latest Facebook hoax, a large database of fingerprints stolen in a historic breach of federal files, and the death of action sports star Erik Roner in a skydiving accident. As the show wraps up, Adam talks about sending the kids to their first cotillion.
