Adam opens the show discussing the latest in the saga of his dog Molly, and ends up going on a tangent about hobo kibble. He also talks about Larry Miller’s son going off to the Marines, novelty beds, and obnoxious bumper stickers. Bald Bryan then reviews a new documentary called ‘Alive Inside’, about the power of music in this week’s Hooray for Baldywood. Dr. Gad Saad, an evolutionary behavioral scientist, is in studio next. The guys talk generally about idiots who won’t listen to theories without poking holes in them, and the Darwinian roots for why we act the way we do. Later, Dr. Saad relates his research to people’s views about extra terrestrials on Earth, religion, and how people feel about the afterlife. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss the evolutionary components that drive our need to consume.
