At the top of the show, Adam talks about not being able to see the new Kong film due to a miscommunication at home. The guys then watch clips from Adam’s original home improvement show that was filmed for a public access station in Eagle Rock. Matt Atchity is also in studio, and the guys take a fan phone call that introduces a new game about the Urban Dictionary. Up next, Matt leads the gang in a Beauty and the Beast themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.
When the game ends, Bryan tells a story from his sports playing days, and Adam complains about Participation Trophies. Adam then takes a call from author Dave Barry, who talks about the latest of his many books. Adam asks him how he became a virtual spokesperson for Florida, and what a day in the life is like for him. Before hanging up, Gina asks him about his new book, ‘For This We Left Egypt?’.
Later, Adam takes a fan phone call about what job to take next, and Gina reads the news that Chuck Berry passed away. The gang also discusses Artie Lange’s latest drug problems, SNL’s first ever show that’s live from coast to coast, and the LA Sheriff’s updating their look. As the show wraps up, Adam describes an encounter with a bat, the guys go through the official new Monopoly tokens, and Adam talks about Olga making him some goulash.
