Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking with Matt Atchity about the growing impact of RottenTomatoes.com. He then tells a story about flying to Portland with a checked out douchebag, and discusses why he never pursued a fully paid university education. Adam also takes a fan phone call about honking through people, and the gang talks about grit vs. chutzpah.

Brian Grazer is brought into the studio early to participate in this week’s Rotten Tomatoes Game. They talk a little bit about his book, ‘A Curious Mind’, and Brian brings up the importance of connectivity. They also talk about Brian’s relationship with Ron Howard, and some of the future projects he’s working on. Matt Atchity then leads the gang in a round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.

Later in the show, Adam asks Brian about the state of his love life, and recently getting married. They also talk about what his kids are interested in, and how to raise them to be generous people that have character. Before Matt heads out, he and Brian talk about the summer movies they are most looking forward to. Today’s top news stories include the Stanford Swimmer rape controversy, the sale of the Playboy Mansion, and the death of Kimbo Slice. Later they talk about the ‘Chewbacca Mom’’s windfall, and more mudslinging between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. As the show wraps up, the guys listen to a 911 call where a five year old ratted out his dad for running a red light.
