Show Summary
As the show opens up, Adam settles an argument between Dave Dameshek and Bald Bryan regarding Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin’s track records. They also argue about Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford. Along the way, Adam rants about stupid Baywatch episodes, Dameshek’s Connect 4 record, and weird moments from film and TV.
Billy Vera is in studio next, and Adam talks to him about his new book, ‘Harlem to Hollywood’. Adam makes an observation about the AM/PM commercials, and chats with Billy about his relationship with Dolly Parton, and a conversation had with Bob Dylan. After some more music talk, Gina starts the news with updates on removing confederate statues from the south. They also talk about the return of Roseanne, killing people with stipends, and Kimmel’s return as next year’s Oscar Host. As the show wraps up, Adam asks Billy about his experiences with Johnny Mathis.
