Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam follows up on the odds of Christoph Waltz winning another supporting actor Oscar. David Wild is also in studio, and the gang talks about the awkward cut away shots that are always shown during awards ceremonies. David also talks about his upcoming work on the Grammys, and the guys discuss why people shouldn’t always expect happy endings with their movies. Before heading out, David and Adam exchange their favorite songs of the week. Bill Simmons is in studio next, and Adam recalls a very fun New Years Eve at his place. Bill then pitches Adam a new movie idea, and Adam tries to refine his ‘Pedoph Isle’ pitch. Later they talk about Bill’s self made success, and trying to break into sports writing before the internet. In the news, the guys discuss more Golden Globe results, and the show wraps up with a conversation about celebrity crushes, euthanasia, and Jodie Foster’s bangs.
