Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks with the Porcelain Punisher about a disfigured pen he found in his office. Adam also rants about seatbelt commercials, and the guys listen to a section of the new audiobook. Alison then starts up the news with a discussion of the death of Donna Summer. They also talk about the new iPhone being slightly bigger than the last, and the growing ratio of non-white births in the US. Arsenio Hall then calls in, and the guys discuss their anticipation for this weekend’s Celebrity Apprentice finale. Next up, Dave Dameshek steps into the studio and talks with Adam about doing another Basic Cable Commentary in the near future. The guys then begin a new segment, #1 Sports, and Shek talks about the unlikeable line-up of Lakers, the lack of endorsements via tattoo, and the future of the NFL. Adam recalls how uncomfortable football practices used to be, but stresses the importance of teamwork. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about the sports documentary series Hard Knocks, and the Creep of the Week.Links
