Adam opens the show complaining about the extra-large tub of hazelnut creamer he found at the other warehouse. He then discusses Kimmel hosting the Emmys, and trying to get to his after party. They also talk about Heidi Klum being a horrible host, and Adam’s excitement for racing at Coronado. After that, Adam takes fan phone calls about ride-sharing regulations, having food delivered backstage, fixing a cracked windshield, and the unintended consequences of a union gig. Along the way, the guys make some Emmy predictions (note: episode was pre-taped on Friday coming into the weekend).
Akbar Gbaja-Biamila is in studio next, and the guys talk about their shared past in Southern California. Bryan then compliments Akbar on NFL Fantasy Live, and they also chat about Akbar’s NFL career, and Nigerian background. Later they talk about the popularity of American Ninja Warrior, being nominated for an Emmy, and the importance of having good grip. Gina also reads news stories about the presidential campaign trail, and hacked emails from Colin Powell. As the show wraps up, Akbar and Adam talk about the skill sets that playing football passes down.
