Adam opens the show talking about a commercial from his youth. He then tells the gang about his whirlwind weekend traveling to Nashville and Minneapolis. The guys also talk about the safety of ride sharing, the best brisket Adam ever had, and traveling with Mike August. Dawson then intros a few more songs from the Tool Box, and Adam gives an update on Sonny’s recovery. After that, the guys take a couple fan phone calls about Tool Tunes and leaving your car running while pumping gas. Before the break, the guys play a round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game, and Shek pops in for today’s ‘Good Sports’ segment.
Adam Hootnick is in studio next, and Adam speaks with him about his 30 for 30 doc, ‘What Carter Lost’. The guys also discuss why Adam got involved with documentary making, and the comfort of having no big projects in the future. The news then begins with an update on Harvey Weinstein, followed by reports that Angelina Jolie and George Clooney were both recruited to be international spies. As the show wraps up, the group talks about health concerns from Mexico, and signed memorabilia from OJ Simpson hitting the market.
