Adam opens the show talking about how his dog hates the water. He also mentions a supposedly inspirational story about a sprinter who was shot outside of USC, and rants about Katy Perry songs being played during the Olympics. Adam then rants about spiders and talks to an audience member about getting over a breakup with a police officer. Later, he complains about too many events at his kids’ school. Alison begins the news with a story about Tommy Lee writing a letter to the president of Sea World to stop playing Motley Crue music during their Shamu shows. She also talks about a dog saving her pups in Chile, and Adam talks about his housekeepers always starting in the kitchen despite his efforts to get them to start in another room. Other news stories include trying to save an 80-year-old lobster, Venice Beach possibly getting a zipline, and ending the war on pubic hair. As the show wraps up, Adam talks about getting busted for what’s recorded on your DVR.
