Adam opens the show talking with Jo Koy about Jo’s recent trip to Hawaii. The guys love the idea that everyone is wearing Bung Lu Su shirts, and Adam rants about people’s need for ‘nummy’. Adam then has a conversation with Brown Sugar, and he talks with Jo about his love life and Valentine’s Day. Before the break, Adam takes fan phone calls and gives thoughtful advice on how to get yourself through a rough patch. A.J. Croce is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about his relationship with his father, the legendary Jim Croce. A.J. discusses the musical legacy he was born into, and talks about the brain tumor that made him lose his sight for six years. Today’s news covers Shirley Temple’s death, Tom Brokaw’s cancer announcement, and a giraffe that was publicly euthanized and fed to animals throughout the zoo.
